This website is operated by Allison Aitken. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Allison Aitken.

Allison Aitken offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Contraindications

For most people, hypnotherapy is a pleasant, gentle, and extremely safe experience. However, your safety is our number one concern and there are occasions where hypnosis would be contraindicated. That means there may be a risk. If you have a medical condition, please ask your doctor to give their approval before confirming your booking with me.
We will be unable to work with you if you have a diagnosis of:
• Psychosis
• Schizophrenia
• Pathological personality disorder
• Senility
We may be able to work with you if you have epilepsy, narcolepsy, depression, asthma, or a heart condition, but will require your doctor’s approval.

Free Initial Consultation

A free 20-minute consultation must take place online over zoom prior to booking hypnotherapy sessions. Therapy will not be provided during the consultation.

Hypnotherapy Fees

Fees are clearly displayed on our website. Payment for individual sessions or packages must be paid in full at the point of booking the first session.

Online Sessions

All sessions are held online over zoom. You will need to have a good WiFi signal and be in a comfortable place where you will not be disturbed. A working camera and microphone are required. Headphones are advisable.

Number / Length of Sessions

The number of sessions required, and treatment results will vary from person to person. The duration of most sessions will be between 45 and 60 minutes, although we reserve the right to amend that time for therapeutic reasons. A stop smoking session may last up to 2 hours.

Cancellation and Late Attendance Policy

We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. 100% of the session fee may be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given, or you miss the appointment.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment then the session may be cancelled without a refund. Working beyond your appointment time will disrupt the clinic for other clients who may have appointments booked.
It is understood that sometimes sudden events, such as emergencies, happen which may make it necessary for clients to cancel their appointment last minute or fail to attend. On such occasions it is at our discretion whether a fee will be charged.
If you arrive for treatment under the influence of mind-altering drugs or alcohol, the session will be suspended, and the full fee charged. Further sessions will be at our discretion and may be cancelled permanently.
We reserve the right to cancel therapy at any time and to refuse prospective clients at our own discretion.

Guarantees

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process requiring your commitment and motivation and resolution of your presenting issue(s) cannot be guaranteed. Under no circumstances can you hold Allison Aitken liable or responsible should you not achieve your desired outcome(s). A refund will not be offered should the therapy be unsuccessful.

You agree to indemnify and hold Allison Aitken and Headspace Hypnotherapy harmless from, and against, any claim or demand connected to the use of the services and products provided.
